History of the seven years war
The Seven years war (1756-1763) was known in America as the French and Indian war. The global conflict expanded throughout 5 continents. Every european great power was involved except the ottoman empire, since the ottoman empire bordered the russian empire along the crimea sea, they had tension with russia. The ottoman empire had a weaker military so they avoided the war.
The affected continents include, Europe, America, west Africa, India, and the Philippians. While the Spanish, French and British fought over America’s colonies, Prussia faced off against Austria, Russia, France, and Sweden. Britain ends up winning the war and colonizing most of the new world, though the french had claimed most of Canada and the great lakes in 1750s
